Joy believes that having a home you love is truly life-changing. Her personal mission is to build lasting relationships with her clients while guiding them through the process of finding their dream homes. Joy was born and raised in Richmond, moved to New York City for college, stayed for a few years, then moved back to Richmond in 2017. Living in New York made her appreciate what Richmond has to offer: the Arts, natural resources, local culture, and a foodie scene- all at an affordable price with just enough hustle! Most recently before real estate, Joy was a fundraiser in the non-profit sector. She worked for Richmond Metro Habitat for Humanity for over 2 years and saw up close how homeownership has the power to uplift families and transform communities. Before her non-profit experiences, she did visual merchandising for Anthropologie. She brings her passion for interior design to her real estate career, always looking for the beauty possible in a space. When she’s not working with clients, she is probably hanging out at a coffee shop, painting, or exploring a new park with her puppy and fiancé.
